The Role

As a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, you’ll play an essential role in helping clients improve their quality of life and autonomy through prevention and treatment of pelvic health conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of pelvic, musculoskeletal, and postural function.
  • Establish physiotherapy diagnoses and identify contributing factors to pain, incontinence, or dysfunction.
  • Provide specialized care and education through all stages: preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, or chronic pelvic conditions.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, exercise programs, and self-management strategies.
  • Offer preventative and educational guidance on pelvic health, breathing, posture, and lifestyle.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Contribute to Saulestice’s educational mission through workshops and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • University degree in physiotherapy.
  • Active member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec.
  • Specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation (required).
  • Clinical experience in pelvic health (an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, professionalism, and strong teamwork abilities.
