Minor urgent care for children & adults
For minor health issues that do not require hospital emergency care, our clinical nurses provide prompt, thorough, and attentive assessments for both children and adults.
They work closely with the Savana Santé Nurse Practitioner Clinic, allowing for comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient. Depending on the situation, this may include a clinical evaluation, prescribing appropriate treatment, and providing individualized follow-up.
If a more in-depth medical evaluation is required and you do not have a family doctor, we can also quickly refer you to our partner nurse practitioners, with no additional fee for this referral.
When needed, we can also direct patients to other healthcare professionals or specialized resources to ensure continuity of care tailored to each situation.

Depending on the service, care may be offered at the centre, in community settings, or at home when appropriate. The goal is to provide accessible, compassionate, and safe nursing support.
Can nurses provide clinical care such as removing stitches or staples?
Yes, with a medical prescription. Our nurses can perform certain clinical procedures, such as the removal of stitches or staples, when these are part of a recommended follow-up and can be provided in a safe and appropriate setting.
When should I consider seeing a nurse?
Nursing services can be helpful for postnatal follow-up, child health assessments, certain clinical nursing procedures with a prescription, breastfeeding support, or health concerns that do not require an emergency room visit. Our nurses help determine the most appropriate care for your situation.
Do nursing services replace medical care?
No. Nursing services do not replace medical care, but rather complement it. If a medical evaluation, prescription, or specialized follow-up is required, our nurses can help guide you toward the appropriate healthcare professional.
Do nursing services include breastfeeding support?
Yes. Some nursing consultations include breastfeeding support, personalized guidance, and practical assistance adapted to your needs, whether you are just beginning or navigating challenges along the way.
